When you smell the scent of pine forests crossed by the salty sea breeze and feel the seemingly never-ending “tornantis” on the tires of your bike as the asphalt tracks change several times, you've arrived in motorcycle paradise.

Namely Sardinia...

The journey there was already the beginning of our unforgettable tour. It was the first time on a ferry with a motorcycle, exciting and yet so uncomplicated. If you girls need any tips, feel free to write to me, as HIS and HER experiences experiences differ 😉.

When the wake-up call sounds early in the morning and you dock in the port of Olbia, everything goes quickly and smoothly. We rolled off the boat at sunrise, still with a pleasantly fresh breeze. The Sardinia on two wheels adventure began...

Out of the city, we quickly headed into nature. Curves that you soon lose count of, over roots that break free from the asphalt, past cactus hedges. Incredible impressions and experiences that I still relive with pleasure to this day. You drive over passes on plateaus with incredible views, past wild horses, and occasionally a goat accompanies you for a short stretch along the side of the road. In mountain villages so small and charming, with colorful houses built into the rocks, it's enough to make you dream. You'll receive a warm welcome in every café, no matter how small. Once, a flock of sheep came towards us over the pass; we turned off the engines and enjoyed the spectacle.

Despite being on a motorcycle, you are so close to this dreamy landscape with its natural spectacle. Our day tours, prepared by Klaus, were amazing, always varied and special. We had three alternating hotel stops during our 10 days on the island, which offered everything.

We will definitely be back to explore the rest of this dream island. We'd be happy to book again through TOURNANTI!
